Being a student in sheffield gives you access to some of the best facilities in the county for winter sports. We regularly practice at the Sheffield Ski Village which is perfect for beginners and advanced riders alike, with features such as a half pipe, big air jumps and rails.
In January we travel to the alps for our annual snowboard holiday, last year we went to Val D'saire. Due to the number of people that go each year we offer very competitive prices much cheaper than you would be able to get outside of the university.
We also go to snowboard events and competitions across the U.K. such as BOARDX and the AIM series. This year we will be doing trips to other dry ski slopes such as Halifax and Tamworth.
We go riding every Wednesday and Friday, everyone is welcome. There are lessons for beginners and free riding sessions for the more experienced. We also have regular drinking sessions for all you party people out there!
